mmmmkay. three weeks into school now. it’s going great, seriously. and i’ve formed new appreciations

such as: the snooze button; mrs. landry and the way she pronounces words; adrian’s incredible fantasic long lasting hugs; meeting up with new friends; haley’s and my conversations about chris; johnnathan park; mudman’s religious debates; spending time with emily and costco because they’re the only one’s who stick by me; BRANDON AKA HOTPANTS AKA #45 <33; brandon a’s and my discusion on why we aren’t together anymore; seeing brandon, and talking to him about various contradictions; mark, who’s a beeotch; drama with terron, purple, joe, recently ricky and matthew, and all the not funny kids; marching band; opening lockers without having anyone else open them for me; laughing until i almost pee my pants; shenanagains; LOGAN HARRIMAN ROLL STEPPING; my daily dose or brandon(and his daily dose of BJ); leon’s weird obsession; talking to kevin about will ferrell; purple teaching me how to get cleavage; seeing micah and making him laugh; writing lyrics that are stuck in my head during geometry; family on three?; my incapability to hug someone without breaking ever bone in their spine; christian’s sexy flannel shirts; and “stalking” brandon, i think not.

because a new school year deserves it.

so, i apprectiate: the ability to differentiate colors from pales, vibrants, pastels, and neons; genuine smiles; hugs from behind; being literally swept off my feet; good rhythm; three coats of nail polish with a sparkly overcoat; the ability to feel different textures; emotions received from my five senses, happiness from seeing a familiar face, pain from my seperators, excitement from listening to upbeat music, nostalgia from the scent of maraschino cherries, marlboro lights, and mixed beverages, and disgust from tasting cheese; how i make memories everyday; the nifty little nicknames i give to everyone i meet; my eagerness to learn; and missing louie because i haven’t talked to him since school started

so i’ve decided to take things slower. it seems as though everything’s just changed in a blink of an eye, and now it’s already half way through eighth grade and i haven’t completed anything i wanted to this year. so i’m giving up all resoulutions and all dreams and all aspirations, but it’s a good thing. instead i’m just going to try and be happy, with myselfand other people. i’ve noticed i pick at people a lot recently, and it’s just making me sad

so let’s see, i appreciate:

the jonas brothers, quotes, pretty drawings, my makeup, guitars, school, my bed, the lagoon blue wall in my room, boys who smile at me, the words i love you, being able to read, panda express, virginity, hugs from justin and cory and mona and edward and shawn, geometry, flowers, life, music that changes my mood, guitar hero III, the strokes, people i call best friend, the ints-ints type of music, trombone, my arms, the hugs of the warm sun, napoleon dynamite, my camera, mango flavored chapstick, lemonheads, my iPod, nirvana, inside jokes, the ninties, britney spears, long chats about childhood, the ability to write, my most best friend in the whole word, my family on both sides, brian from the shantays, 11:11, history class, hardcore rap, everyday mistakes, every tomorrow that comes.

and the reason why is i’ve realized….. well i’ve realized that you never know when that whatever it maybe won’t be in your life. so for those things and people i didn’t appreciate i’m terribly sorry, but know that you’ve helped me and i appreciate that
